Why I Started Mycorise: From Curiosity to Craft

When most people pick up a bottle of supplements, they never stop to wonder how it was made.
They don't see the ingredients being weighed by hand.
They don't see the late nights spent sterilizing substrate, checking temperatures, or carefully monitoring each batch. They don't see the patience it takes to transform raw materials into something meaningful.
I do.
Because Mycorise began not as a business plan, but as a question:
What if wellness could be built with more intention?
The Beginning
Like many people, I was searching for ways to support my focus, clarity, and daily performance in a world that constantly demands more from us. I discovered Lion's Mane mushroom and became fascinated by both the emerging research and the centuries of traditional use surrounding it.
But the deeper I looked into the supplement industry, the more questions I had.
Where were these products coming from?
What exactly was inside them?
Who was making them?
I realized I wanted something different.
Not mass-produced.
Not anonymous.
Something I could stand behind.
Building Mycorise
What started as curiosity quickly became a passion.
I learned how to cultivate Lion's Mane from the ground up.
I experimented.
I failed.
I adjusted.
I started over.
Then I tried again.
Today, every batch begins with simple ingredients:
100% fruiting body Lion's Mane
Organic oak hardwood
Organic soy hulls
Carefully controlled growing conditions
A commitment to small-batch quality
The process is time-consuming, but that's exactly the point.
Quality takes time.
Why Small Batch Matters
Large manufacturers are often focused on speed and scale.
At Mycorise, we're focused on consistency and care.
Every grow bag is mixed by hand.
Every sterilization cycle is monitored.
Every harvest represents weeks of attention and patience.
Every bottle carries the lessons learned from each batch before it.
There are no shortcuts.
Because the people using these products matter.
More Than a Supplement
Mycorise isn't just about mushrooms.
It's about creating moments of clarity in busy lives.
It's about supporting your daily wellness ritual.
It's about reconnecting with purpose and showing that craftsmanship still matters.
Whether you're an athlete training for your next goal, a student chasing your dreams, a parent balancing life's demands, or simply someone trying to show up as your best self, you deserve products made with integrity.
This Is Only the Beginning
Over the coming months, I'll be sharing more of the journey behind Mycorise.
You'll see the cultivation process.
The successes.
The setbacks.
The experiments.
The harvests.
Because I believe transparency builds trust.
Thank you for being here at the beginning.
Thank you for supporting small businesses.
And thank you for joining me on this journey.
Welcome to Mycorise.
